Gemeentelijk infoblad met ambitie

It doesn’t hurt for a municipal info magazine to be slightly more ambitious than publishing a series of boring announcements for the residents. The town council of Laakdal thought it would be a good idea for a high-quality municipal magazine to reflect the council’s effective policy. Time to take a closer look at ‘Laakdal informeert’.

Xpair completely revamped the free local paper and formulated a new editorial mission that puts the town’s residents front and centre. The result is a magazine with a transparent structure, a kaleidoscope of new columns and a fresh design that boldly looks to the future. The resurrection of the municipal info magazine that couples information with inspiration also called for a new name: ‘Laakdal leeft’ (Laakdal lives).

After the Revival: InTeam

In the wake of this successful transformation Xpair was also asked to tackle the staff magazine ‘InTeam’. All that remained was the magazine’s intimate title. Same flag, different cargo thanks to an editorial revival and a complete makeover.
